One year after...

Time just flyied as I remember the way I felt one year ago when I was preparing my trip to Finland. My very 1st newsletter, the first about my feelings when there was just one month to go until fllying there... Today I publish the 1st one since I'm back, one month after living again the french way...

Hi everyone !!

At la
st I take some time to write to you all guys :)

I've
been back to France for now one month and I'm just starting to feel comfortable out there. It felt so weird at the beginning to hear this strange French language everywhere around me :D I guess for those of you who are back as well you might know what I'm talking about :)

Si
nce I've been back, quite many things happened, that's why I never really had time to write, or to update my poor dying blog :S

Fi
rst, I felt horrible about being back... Of course, meeting again friends and family is great, but the day after I was walking on the French ground, I had to fill a fucking form for my summer job, and I got a letter about my admission to the University I applied for the coming September. Of course, I was glad about having those projects, but at the same time, that was way too much when you just come back. I was still thinking about my Finland, how much I already was missing everyone, and at the same time, I had to be straight concentrate on my future in France :S Not cool :D

Then that was wonderful: on June the 16th (two days after my coming back) my two Finnish best friends paid me a visit for a whole week :) It felt so good. They were in Finland for my farewell party, and they were in France for my welcoming one :) They could a bit of France (Paris, Annecy, Chambéry -my hometown- and the French mountains and lakes) and they got to learn or to improve French language :D So cool :)

Then
Artsi (the son of my host family, but I think you know who he is) came as well on the 25th for two weeks :) Having some of Finland in France felt really nice, and it was important to have them with me at that time...

T
hen what can I say else... Now my summer job started two weeks ago. I work all July and August. I work at the clients/customers service of the SNCF (Service National des Chemins de Fer Français - which is, like everyone knows :D the French railway network) so there I answer, through computer, all the letters of people complaining about some bad travels by TGV, or asking for being paid back... it's actually pretty hard cause I have to learn all the prices, the special prices for regular travellers, the selling and after selling conditions, and I also have to know how to use the computer with whom we make bank transfers... That's quite a lot in one week :S but since last week I work alone and everything is fine :) I you have no idea how much I'll make money :D It's not a part-time job so I work from 8.00 to 12.00; 13.30 to 17.00, but the salary is worth it :)

About my school in September, it won't be easy, I'll have to study ONCE MORE those fucking maths :( But the thing itself will be cool: I'll study all the computer works/arts to work later in visual communication. So it will be interesting :)

The coolest thing about being back is that... I JOINED MY BAND BACK :) It feels soooo good to play again :) We are still and always covering and working on Nightwish songs, and we started composing... We can't really have proper songs so far cause we are just a guitarist, drummer and singer, we are still missing a bassist and a guy to the keyboards... But still we are having so much fun when play :) In September, I'll participate to a big singing competition, so all my music plans are doing very fine :)

Per
sonally, you know I was planning to go back to Finland next year; if everything's cool, it will be possible; and of course, in 4 years I'm definitely moving there with my band, and also for some personal reasons ;) So... Finland, see you soon :D

I guess everyone stopped reading that because of the length of my letter so I'll stop :D

I hope all of you are doing fine, and for those of you who are back, cheer up, Finland isn't so far away if we really want ;) Give me some news when you can...

oivon että ihan kohta me kaikki tapamme uudesta... Mä kaipaan teitä paljon paljon :'( Hyvää matkaa tein maaissa ;)
